A hockey jersey created for 49 Dzine. The jersey is an Indigenous
take on Calgarys local hockey team. The horse symbolizes mobility, prosperity, and power whilst the colours are similar to that of an Indigenous medicine wheel.
Pen & Ink CONCEPT
A tight sketch design layout of the Indigenous Horse was drawn in coloured pencil and later finished with pen & ink.
Adobe Illustrator
The sketch is later vectorized in Adobe Illustrator in black & white.
Final Composition
The final design is then coloured in Adobe Illustrator. A colour compositions chosen to resemble the local sports team.
